Eldon Leo Johns, age 96, of Long Creek, Oregon left his earthly home to be with his Lord on May 22, 2023 at Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Long Creek High School Gymnasium. There will be a reception following at the Seventh Day Adventist Friendship Hall. A committal service, with military honors, will take place at the Fox Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Long Creek Community Church through Driskill Memorial Chapel, 241 S. Canyon Blvd., John Day, Oregon 97845.
